CloseReply reads and replies to your leads, so how we handle data matters. Here's a plain-language overview of how we keep it safe — no jargon, no overclaiming.
Your data and your customers’ messages are encrypted in transit over TLS and encrypted at rest in our database. Access is restricted and credentials are stored securely.
CloseReply connects to Gmail through Google’s official OAuth. We request only the permissions needed to read and reply to your mail, and you can revoke access from your Google account at any time.
We do not sell or rent your data or your customers’ data, and we don’t use your email content to train public AI models. Your data is used to operate the service for you.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we delete your account data when you cancel. Email support@closereply.com to request deletion.
CloseReply relies on a small set of established providers to operate. Each handles a specific part of the service:
Google — Gmail access via OAuth, for reading and sending your email.
Twilio — phone calls and SMS on your CloseReply number.
Anthropic (Claude) — the AI model that drafts replies and handles conversations.
Supabase — secure database for your account and conversation data.
Render — application hosting.
Resend — transactional email (receipts, alerts).
Dodo Payments — billing; we never see or store your full card number.
